On a beautiful Friday morning, Tackan Elementary School hosted it's annual "Moving Up" ceremony as 5th graders get ready for middle school!
"Boys and girls, today we celebrate you, all that you are, and all that we believe you will become as you move beyond our doors and into the next phase of your education," Principal Furey exclaimed. "Please know that we are deeply proud of you."
PTA President, Mrs. Wellenruether also shared how proud she was of the students, who after 1,080 days at Tackan are moving on to Great Hollow Middle School. Superintendent Dr. Secaur proudly watched on as the students not only received their certificates in front of family and friends, but even gave a few musical performances with the help of music teacher, Mr. Connor.
